It's like your first kiss. Nothing can quite compare you and even though you are unprepared you can not wait to do THAT again. This is what happened when I listened to Fort Lean's new (4) song ep. I went in THINKING I knew what to expect. I mean I have seen and heard this before right? The PR group sent me a link, I did not get to it for weeks then in a moment of weakness I slapped on 'Dreams (Never Come True)' and BAM I was hooked. I played it again because I truly wasn't prepared for what I had heard. Sorry melodies, gorgeous vocals and a driving chorus that made me feel and wish I was half my age, harkening back to those "first kisses". These guys are from New York and their sound is straight from SoCal (see Press release posted on web) and all the tracks standout.

Charlie Wilson loved whiskey and he loved women, but they didn’t stop him from accomplishing something that should have been impossible

11/21/2007 - No Country For Old Men (2) A hunter by the name of Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) captures the ultimate bounty when he stumbles upon 2 million in cash. Of course when 2million goes missing there will always be those in search of it.
11/21/2007 - American Ganster Movie Review Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe give their usual brilliant performances, but the movie falls a bit short. Crowe's character is given too much screen time and the masterful mind of a drug lord is not explored enough. American Gangster is a good film but you leave feeling like one of Lucas's junkies, desiring a bit more.
11/20/2007 - Zookeeper - 'Become All Things' Become All Things is a nice album of piano-bar sing alongs with deep mood swings. It will not go down as one of the best of 2007, or live up to the hype, but the songs shoud find a nice place on your IPOD
10/26/2007 - Dropkick Murphys - 'The Meanest Of Times' Despite gaining mainstream exposure on last year's soundtrack to 'The Departed' as well as singing the National Anthem (repeatedly) for The Boston Red Sox, The Dropkick Murphys haven't softened their rough edges
